My Pearl preset Here

Unzip this into your Bladepro enviroments and textures folder.

When I first began looking at PaintShop pro sites, I was always fascinated by the Pearl tubes and collected quite a few. One occasion whilst playing with SuperBladepro I discovered this preset. The following is a mini tutorial on how to use it.

Open a new image 200x200pixels, 16million colors, transparent.
Set your foreground color to #D0AD90 and your background color to null.

materials palette.

Using the selection tool, draw an ellipse and floodfill with your foreground color. Do not deselect.

Ellipse1

Click on Effects-Plugins-Flaming Pear-SuperBladePro. Click on the button with the right pointing arrow and browse to find and open pearl1.q5q. Apply by clicking OK.

Superbladepro

This is what you should have now. Keep selected.

Ellipse2

Adjust Hue and Saturation-Colourise. Hue-41 Saturation-41. This will give a natural looking Pearl.

You can colourise in any shade you would like.

Colourise1  Colourise2

Deselect, Adjust-Sharpeness-Sharpen. Either export as a tube or save.

Your pearl is now ready to use, the beauty of this method is that you can have any shape you wish.

I hope you have found this tutorial usefull. The gold used on this page is Dee's Gold Glass from her wonderful collection of BladePro Presets. Unfortunately I can no longer find the link. I did however have permission to use it and so hope it is in order for me to offer a download from Here
